Service Description

Following an initial no-charge conversation about whether the coaching approach is the right one to take, we can begin a coaching programme. Usually, this involves a session to determine the practicalities of how we will work together, how often, and what the expectations will be. A programme is usually around six sessions, with a final wrap up session and follow-up at an agreed time interval. However, sometimes a one-off session will be appropriate and would have been discussed in advance. In the case of a group or team building session these may also be one off sessions or part of a longer programme. My approach will always involve deep listening. The client brings the focus and I offer the time and space to articulate thoughts and feelings without pressure. Using a proprietary model called TEDA (topic, exploration, discovery, action) and as appropriate, additional coaching tools or strategies, we aim to gain perspectives on the issues at hand and in the process find solutions, remove blockers, and make a plan. As part of the exploratory conversation, we will discuss accountability for the outcomes and how you would like me to support you in achieving your targets. Of course, the hard work will come from you, the client. But with the support of a coach, it may seem less onerous than it otherwise might. Individual sessions are around an hour each (longer for group or team building). A charge for the programme will always be agreed up front. As a rough estimate I charge £100 per hour. The are no additional charges for coach time spent in preparation or follow-up.
